The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired Adam Cimber and Corey Dickerson in a trade with the Miami Marlins.

Miami received Joe Panik and Minor League right-hander Andrew McInvale in the swap.

Dickerson, 32, signed a two-year, $17.5 million deal with the Marlins before the 2020 season.

Cimber is controllable via arbitration through the 2024 season.

The Chicago White Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks have been discussing a potential trade centered around Eduardo Escobar for the past week.

It now seems as though those talks are accelerating.

According to a report, the Diamondbacks are "on the verge" of starting a sell-off that will begin with an Escobar trade.

Ford was designated for assignment Saturday.
